Eco-parliament

Eco Parliament is an interesting activity that can be planned with students, teachers and representatives of NGOs. In eco parliament, students form into two groups representing the government and the opposition. They take a problem and discuss it and finally come to a decision. Here the participants are advised to take up local problems and discuss them. The effort is to generate not only questioning capacity but also answerability. The opposition has to form shadow cabinet and the source of information will be the local newspapers and media.
